Model year 2015 was initially thought to be the year of the Challenger, as it was the performance Dodge that we know will be receiving big upgrades but it seems the 2015 Dodge Charger is also in for hefty updates, even more than its coupe brother Challenger!
For 2015 the Dodge Charger is supposedly being changed so much that only the rear doors will actually interchange with the 2011-2014 car and just about every other piece of sheet metal will be changed.
As we reported earlier, the 2015 Charger will receive an all new front fascia but the changes aren’t ending there. The car will have taller rear quarter panels, new front and rear fascias, new hoods, new tail lights and overall have a more futuristic exterior appearance per Ralph Gilles latest interview by Hot Rod Magazine.
The 2015 Charger will also receive some interior updates which will include the 7 inch TFT dash and other tech updates seen elsewhere throughout the Chrysler grouo line-up of vehicles.
The 2015 Dodge charger will begin production in October of 2014
